SPED/Replacement Instruction Teacher

Special Education Teacher: 4th-7th Grade Learning and Emotional Support


  • Attend and participate in the Annual Review of the IEP student Case Conferences (The person in this position is not responsible for writing IEPs)
  • Complete progress monitoring of IEP goals
  • Collaborate with the Special Education Case Manager and General Education Teachers
  • Follow reading and math research-based intervention programs
  • Ensure health, safety & welfare of children
  • Plan and implement educational goals and objectives in the Educational Plan for each child assigned by planning and providing instruction on developmentally appropriate activities
  • Conduct formal and informal assessments for each student
  • Develop educational curriculum in conjunction with the Educational Plan
  • Supervise and direct classroom staff (teacher assistant and 1:1 aides)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records concerning each individual in the classroom

$46,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
