Celebrating our history and highlighting the accomplishments of our students and staff is important to RBCS.

In 2011, we reflected on our first 10 years as a blooming charter school by interviewing students, parents, and faculty and thanking the many supporters who helped make our dream of providing excellent education to Philadelphia's students a reality. Russell Byers Charter School students visited various landmarks throughout the city of Philadelphia creating unique drawings of many of these iconic sites.  Philadelphia is a city of big ideas and big things like the Rocky Steps and City Hall.  Enjoy Bigger than Me, a book full of colorful drawings and fun facts.  There are even pages in the back to add your own drawing.  The 36 page book is available to purchase on the Byerschool Foundation website.
