Our math program follows a workshop model, which incorporates teacher modeling with discovery learning and problem solving. Students have opportunities to work with others and to conference individually with teachers on their understanding of math concepts and skills.

Teachers use the Harcourt Math program, which offers a structure for multidisciplinary teaching of content and skills, consistently in grades 4 year old kindergarten through sixth. The curriculum is based on Pennsylvania State Standards, and teachers strive to align math instruction with classroom expeditions when it is possible.
