Five year old kindergarten students sang "Friend of Mine". This song of compassion and friendship and shared about how music helps them learn the principle of "Empathy and Caring."

Second grade students presented information on Native American music and performed the traditional Native American songs, "Duck Dance" and "Tall Cedar Tree". Students shared how our classroom discussions around this topic integrated "The Natural World" and "The Responsibility for Learning" Design Principles.
